With solemn reverence, we commemorate Carmella (Albanese) Vasinelli of Syracuse, New York, whose life came to an end on December 12, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincenzo Albanese and Mary Albanese; and her siblings, Angie Carlucci, Philomena Rosati, Carmen, Frank and Anthony Albanese.
She is survived by: her husband Peter Vasinelli; her daughter Maria Greco (Sam); her grandchildren, Jennifer Brefka (Mike), Andrea Landry (Jamie) and Joseph Greco; and her great grandchild Allison. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the St. Peter Church (301 Ash St, Syracuse, NY 13208). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash Street, Syracuse, NY 13208.
