It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christopher S. Gallup of Syracuse, New York, who passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Gallup (Ferrante) and William Gallup; Bella-Bailey. He is survived by: his wife MaryEllen Gallup (Iannuzzi); his children, Rachael Massey and Stephen Gallup; his grandchildren, Olivia and Noah; his siblings, Matthew Gallup, Therese Gallup and Thomas Gallup (Roxanne); his pets, Blue and Lola; his siblings' children, Matthew Gallup, Jessica Palmer (Ian), Emily Walsh (Chris), Thomas Gallup, Jr. and Tara Perrotti; his aunts and uncles, Edward, Betty Ferrante, Thomas and Corinne Ferrante; and his close friend Frank Trippany. He is also survived by many cousins, extended family, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (3127 James St, Syracuse, NY 13206).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either CNY SPCA or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
