He is survived by: his children, Houston Wheeler (Kashonda), Dallas Holmes III, Rachel Holmes (Lagusta), Rebekah Holmes (Myron) and Kasara Holmes (Tyrone); his grandchildren, Raisaun Baker Jr., Dallas Holmes IV, Troy Boatwright III, Carmello Robinson, Juel Boatwright, Deondre Holmes, Shawaun Boatwright, Kamy Boatwright, Kamya Boatwright, La'Meir Holmes, Barbara Wheeler (Barbie), Rebekah Robinson, Ty'Sara Stanley and EhMy Thomas; his great grandchildren, Raisaun Baker III and Mikere Robinson; and his siblings, Mildred Holmes, Deboria Adams, Careenia, Ethel T. and John Collins (Norma) of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
