He was predeceased by: his parents, Hnat and Katerina; and his siblings, Hannah Batyuk and Sergiy Batyuk. He is survived by: his wife Nina; and his children, Sergey Batyuk (Svetlana), Lyudmila Tomoroksa (Aleksandr), Liliya Bandura (Vasiliy), Lyubov Kopchyuk (Leonid), Miroslava Chubaruk (Pavel) and Vera Zhuravel (Vasily). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 6:00 PM and on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church (3875 Warners Rd, Syracuse, NY 13209). A burial will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at the Greenlawn Cemetery (2932 Warners Rd, Warners, NY 13164).
