Dolores (Ricci) Gallo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dolores (Ricci) Gallo (Syracuse, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 4, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Dolores leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francesco (Antonietta Ricci) and Dolores; her husband John Gallo Sr.; and her close friend Carmine Angotti. She is survived by: her children, Anthony Gallo (Mary Kay), Alvira Carsten (James), Frances Santoferrara (Jim) and John Jr. Gallo (Emiliegh). She is also survived by her many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Farone & Son INC Funeral Home (4899 W Taft Rd, Liverpool, NY 13088). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Farone & Son Inc. Funeral Home (4899 W Taft Rd, Liverpool, NY 13088). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter Church (301 Ash St, Syracuse, NY 13208).
