As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Doris may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Talladay and Doris Talladay (Newton); her husband Louis "Lou" Alteri; and her daughter-in-law Barbara Alteri. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Hoffman (Wayne), Jacqueline Clarke and Louis Alteri (Terrie). She is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
