He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Verstraete and Vincent Verstraete. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Mannion (Katie) of Syracuse; his children, Kelly Landau (Michael) of Camillus and Edward P. Verstraete of Syracuse; his grandsons, Matthew and Jack Landau; and his sisters, Janette Verstraete, Jane Johnson (Don) and Nancy Flath (Randy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
