Elizabeth Kinsey Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Elizabeth Kinsey of Syracuse, New York. Elizabeth, born on July 15, 1918, passed away on June 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Harris and Devorn Harris; her husband Reverend Emery Kinsey Sr.; her children, Sylvester, Earlene, Devorn, Paul and Cynthia Kinsey; her grandchildren, Rondell F. Kinsey and Tierra Newton; her siblings, Charlie Harris, Angeline Oliver and Idella Ganzy; and her children-in-law, Earnest Jackson, Lorraine and Carolyn Kinsey.

She is survived by: her children, Agnes Jackson of Syracuse, Emery Kinsey (Mary) of Syracuse, Irene James (Dewayne) of Syracuse, Theodis Kinsey of Syracuse, James Kinsey (Darlene) of Syracuse and Kenneth Kinsey of Syracuse; and her godson Jafar Kinsey. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, 47 great, great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
