He was predeceased by: his mother Josephine B. Etoll; his wife Sheila; his son Joseph; his sister Barbara Lynch; and his siblings-in-law, Beatrice "Betty" Jerge (O'Grady), Noreen Kraus (O'Grady), Thomas Lynch, Raymond Jerge and Donald Kraus.
He is survived by: his sister Syracuse; his close friend Frank Luca; his children, Stephen (Jill), Daniel (Trine), Thomas (Kristin) and Megan; his grandchildren, Jacob Etoll (Izzy), Molly Etoll, Mack Etoll, Owen Etoll, Quinn Etoll, Grady Etoll and Keira Etoll; his sister Elizabeth Etoll; his nibling Ernie; Jacob Lattif and Michael Lattif.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Church of the Most Holy Rosary (111 Roberts Ave, Syracuse, NY 13207). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
