He is survived by: his wife Anna Adkins; his children, Craig Adkins, Mary Royal, Fred Adkins Jr., Edward Adkins, Bobby Adkins and Kimberly Adkins (Renee); his son-in-law Ira Holland; his sister Blenda Rutledge of Bluefield, WV; his siblings-in-law, Joseph Starkey (Cathy) and Nancy Starkey; and his grandchildren, Anthony, Tyron, Edwin (Kiss), Elijah (Gabby), Aizlyn, Adelyn, Vivianna, Luis (Kate), Damion (Tabitha) and Antonio. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
