With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gail M. Ahern (Syracuse, New York), who passed away on March 4, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas M. Ahern. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Ahern, Sean Ahern (Mary), Daniel Ahern, Kathleen Krohl (Michael) and Erin Garbutt (Dana); her grandchildren, Brian, Joseph, Thomas, Patrick, Evan, Conor, Robert, Alaina, Michael, Kyle and Aiden; and her siblings, Lynn Vanderveen and John Rittell. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
