We bid farewell to Gary James Corbett (Syracuse, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 21, 2025. Gary James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Margaret and Patrick J. Corbett; his wife Carolyn Corbett (Holmes); his children, Molly Corbett (Jeffrey Wendell) of Saratoga Springs, NY, Sarah Corbett (David Clifford) of Salem, MA, Margaret Corbett of Westvale, Patrick Corbett of Westvale and Daniel Corbett (Lindsay) of Arlington, VA.; his grandchildren, Katie, Clare Wendell, Mick Kaufman, Macallen, Dylan and Skyler Corbett; and his sisters, Carol Comerford of Manhattan, Kathleen Conroy of Westvale and Patricia Conole (William) of Skaneateles. He was also cherished by five children and their spouses, six grandchildren, his three sisters and dozens of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Anns Parish (417 S Orchard Rd, Syracuse, NY 13219). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery (4069 Howlett Hill Rd, Onondaga, NY 13215).
