He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sears and Mildred Sears; his sisters, Marjorie Groboske (Albert) and Esther Verrioli (Pat); his sister-in-law Rosamond Bennati; and his son-in-law Dimothy Delia.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille A. Sears; his children, Michelle Delia and Thomas Sears; his grandsons, George Delia of Syracuse and Jonathan Sears of California; and his brother-in-law Eugene Bennati. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Edward J. Ryan and Son Funeral Home (3180 Bellevue Ave, Syracuse, NY 13219). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
