He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sears and Mildred Sears; his sisters, Marjorie Groboske (Albert) and Esther Verrioli (Pat); his sister-in-law Rosamond Bennati; and his son-in-law Timothy Delia.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille A. Sears; his children, Michelle Delia and Thomas Sears; his grandsons, George Delia of Syracuse and Jonathan Sears of California; and his brother-in-law Eugene Bennati. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
