“We met Gerard when he came to London to teach students at Syracuse University - my husband was there teaching photography at the time. Gerard came to live with us in our house several times when visiting the UK, renting a small flat we had in our house, and he was one of the easiest & friendly tenant we had, always willing to have a chat, always busy with taking his students to the theatre and generally charming everyone who knew him .He will be SO missed by all who knew him:what a friend !”
