She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Lee Newton, Sr.; her sons, Albert Lee Newton, Jr. and Ricky Newton; and her parents, Levi Redish and Geneva Redish.
She is survived by: her children, Garrett Newton (Queen) and Dianne Newton; her grandchildren, Tremaine Dorsey, Tamara Burgess, Eric Webster, Jr., Jamar Newton, Tarrie Newton, Shanissa Derby, Shantivia Newton, Justice Newton and Jordan Cheek; her great grandchildren, Kaiya, Veda, Jayla, Isabella, Kaiden, Kamora, Deymeire, Amiyah, Cassius, Erica, Elonnie, Eric and Nylah; her brother Pervis "Bill" Redish; and her sibling's children, Queen Redish, Jacqueline Burnette, Marie Tobert and Warren Jenkins.
