He is survived by: his son Douglas Heilman; his nephew James Pickard; his stepdaughter Rose Viviano; his granddaughter Carmen Viviano-Crafts; his great grandchild Ruby White; and his nieces and nephews, John Christner, Steve Sprow, Scott Sprow, Gail Vega, Sue Magdich, Kristi Johnson, Kenneth Vallimont, Janice Paradise (Vallimont), Irene Brose, Doug Brose, Sandy Brose, Margaret Brose, Ruth Brose, Becky McCumber, Karen Pittman, Pete Brose, Patty Fry, Martha Horton, Leisa Isenberg, Troy Faunce, Todd Faunce and Diana Roof.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Gang Memorial Chapel (104 Fordham Rd, Syracuse, NY 13203).
