Hugo Polichemi Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hugo Polichemi of Syracuse, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Hugo is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Hugo's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his wife Antoinette. He is survived by: his daughters, Ruthanne Moore (Rick), Naomi Cook (Raymond) and Rebecca Dusart (Thomas); and his sister Mary Locandro (Dominick). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Christ Community Church of the Nazarene (3644 Warners Rd, Syracuse, NY 13209). A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at the Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery (4069 Howlett Hill Rd, Syracuse, NY 13215).
