He was predeceased by: his wife Maria. He is survived by: his son Joseph; his daughter-in-law Rose; his daughter Maria; his son-in-law Kenneth Donnelly; his grandchildren, Lauren DeFrancisci, Andrew DeFrancisci, Claire DeFrancisci, Brian Schanbacher (Alison Kahn Schanbacher) and Cara Holler (Colin); and his great grandchildren, Julian, Frances Kheirbek, Maxine and Nellie June Holler.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Whitting Funeral Home (300 Glen Cove Ave, Glen Head, NY 11545). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Mary's Roman Catholic Church (110 Bryant Ave, Roslyn, NY 11576). A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood (111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590).
