He is survived by: his wife Sharon A. Van Marter (Christino); his children, Kathleen Ordway (Kieran) and Jacob V. Van Marter III; his grandchildren, David, Kevin, Nicole and Meagan; and his siblings, James Van Marter (Sue) and Judy Stockus. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
