James left this world on July 10, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Raite and Florence Raite (Nappa). He is survived by: his wife Christine Lydon; his siblings, Dennis Raite (Colleen) and Sandra Seibt (Theodore); his siblings' children, Reverend Christopher Seibt, Jacqueline Weinheimer (Kevin), Danielle Raite and Emily Raite; his great-nephews, Joseph and Matthew Weinheimer; and his great-niece Laysia Raite.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
