He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cook and Virginia Cook; his brother Timmy; his daughter Megan; and his stepson Matthew.
He is survived by: his son Sean; his siblings, Patty (Shields), Chrissy and Jimmy; and his cousin Joe Kendrick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the A. Dewitt Memorial Funeral Homes & Cremation Services (4612 S Salina St, Syracuse, NY 13205). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
