He is survived by: his wife Mary Gassen (Garofalo); his children, David Gassen (Rae) and Amy Young (Michael); his grandsons, Anthony, Christopher Young and Rocco Gassen; his sisters, Carol Kapcheck and Patricia Santos; and his sister-in-law Theresa LoFaro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
