With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John F. Heater of Syracuse, New York, who passed away on February 15, 2026 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Heater and Martha Heater. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Heater (Sally); his children, Dennis Greco (Renee), Patrick Greco (Christine) of Alaska, Angela Greco (Christopher) and Michele Greco; and his siblings, Thomas Heater (Jan) of Florida, William Heater, Jr. (Kathy), Robert Heater (Denise), Richard Heater (Nancy) and Kathryn Jones. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
