He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Dowd and Loretta Dowd (Riley). He is survived by: his children, Robert (Maribeth Krupczak) of Albany, Kathleen Freese of Ballston Spa and Michael (Kellie) of Syracuse; and his grandchildren, Keegan Healy (Jack) of Merritt Island, FL and Katherine Dowd of Syracuse. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
