John M. O'Brien Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John M. O'Brien of Syracuse, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 14, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia "Pat" O'Brien (O'Grady); his sister Patricia Dwyer; and his daughter-in-law Delilah. He is survived by: his sons, Michael O'Brien (Chris) of Syracuse, Kevin O'Brien of Tampa, FL and Mark O'Brien (Debbie) of Liverpool, One; his sister Ann Kneeskern; and his grandchildren, Caitlin O'Brien, Marissa O'Brien and Michael O'Brien. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
After his retirement from the US Postal Service, he was employed at Sunnycrest Golf Course for a number of years until Covid struck.
