He was predeceased by: his son Gene'Chip'Dyer. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Dale Sotherden (Jim), David Cosilmon (Tracy) and Carol Jones (Lynn); and his stepchildren, Ginny Dennis (Carl), Kenneth Guyer, Kim Curtis (Bob), Holly Barnard (Randy) and Kirk Guyer.
