She is survived by: her mother Angela Short; her stepmother Stephanie McCarty; her siblings, Sophie Short, Kamia McCarty, Candida Brown, Kelice Derby, Marquila Gray, Damian Short, Keyshawn Derby, Melvin Brown Jr. and Dion Brown; her siblings' children, Shanice Gary, Kenzya Gray and Shamar Gray; her close friend Myonna Mack; her godmother Mi'keya Wright; her aunt Charlotte; and her uncles, Shawn, Andre, James and Drew.
