He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Briggs and Edward Briggs; and his brother Edward. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Briggs, Kimberly Briggs and Mark Briggs (Samantha); his grandchildren, Heidi Jamrosz (Nick), Corey Briggs (Olivia), Leila, Mason and Ayanna Briggs; and his great grandchildren, Stephen and Lucy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
