She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard L. Markes and Loretta Holden; her son Michael Paul Darby; her godson Jacob; her brother Lawrence Markes; and her stepfather Larry Holden.
She is survived by: her children, Tyler VanTassel, Samantha Billings and Zoe VanTassel; her sister Lisa Merriman (Jay Hook); the father of her children Timothy VanTassel; and her close friend Debbie Kowalski.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Union Settlement Cemetery (2736 NY-49, West Monroe, NY 13167).
