He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Dumas and Anna Dumas (Brockway); his wife Jean Dumas (Travers); his former life partner Mary Dumas (Zehner); and his siblings, Ken, Bill, Edgar, Norm, Darrell, Rita, Kaye, Joan and Gerry.

He is survived by : his children, Suzanne Parrott (Paul), Denise Cianfriglia (Jerry) and Andre Dumas (Renea); his grandchildren, Randy Parrott (Jenn), Renee Carolin, Robin Groninga (Kirk), Tiffany Mullin (Shaun), Jason Dumas (Deanna) and Ashley Nadeau (Nick); his great grandchildren, Jacob, Tyler, Alanna, Ryleigh, Hailee, Lincoln, London, William, Dominic, Charlee, Makaela of Alex, CJ and Sophia; and his siblings, Bernice Gonyea and Clarence Dumas (Viva). He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
