She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Cheeves and Rosa Cheeves; her husband Lewis Cross; and her sister Georgia Maddox. She is survived by: her children, Karen A. Maloy of Huntsville, AL, Nancy M. Butler of Florida, Sandra D. Butler, Anthony R. Butler (Cathy) of Fairfax, VA and Cleo R. Butler, Jr. (Karen) of Syracuse, NY; and her granddaughter LaToya M. Gaston. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 21 great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Seventh Day Adventist Church (1926 Midland Ave, Syracuse, NY 13205). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Seventh-Day Adventist Church (1936 Midland Ave, Syracuse, NY 13205).
