Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Marian leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Royal Alexander and Alice Alexander; her husband Anthony J. Brooks (Tony); her sons, Anthony R. Brooks and James E. Brooks; and her great grandchild Shannon Cross.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Bergett (Mike), Michael Brooks (Anna), Pat Smith (David), Alice Coleman (Marc Caselle), Nancy Brooks and Joanne Saya (Steve). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and two daughters-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Church (342 Vine St, Syracuse, NY 13203).
