We announce the death of Marion B. Mirizio (Syracuse, New York), who passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 94. Marion will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Marion will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Marion will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Marion’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Thomas Mirizio Sr.; her son Frank "Tommy" Mirizio Jr.; her parents, August Russo and Mary Russo; and her siblings, Ann Shirley Labruzzo, Margert Davirro and John.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Anne Rinker (Dale) and Michele Mirizio; and her daughter-in-law Judy Mirizio. She is also survived by Eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (406 Court St, Syracuse, NY 13208). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
