It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monique Allen (Syracuse, New York), who passed away on April 8, 2026, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Monique leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Allen and Salendria Mabrey; her stepfather William Mabrey; and her great-niece Jaz'Min Boatwright. She is survived by: her son W. B. Christopher of Syracuse, NY; her sisters, Lanika Okoro (Austine) of Syracuse, NY and Salendria Mabrey of Edison, NJ; her stepsister Vickie McCullough of Syracuse, NY; her niece Maya McCullough; her nephews, Torrence and Tiernan McCullough; and her great-nephews, Legend and Lawson Thomas of Syracuse, NY. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
