It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas V. Mazza Jr. (Syracuse, New York), who passed away on March 20, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Nicholas departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Nicholas. Though Nicholas may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Mazza and Raffael Mazza (Fiore); and his wife Norma (DeCirce). He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Secor of Lakeland and Gregory Mazza (Nancy) of Chandler, AZ; and his sister Rose Versaggi of Princeton, NJ.. He is also survived by four granddaughters, eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to the St. Marianne Cope Parish Food Pantry, 105 Stanton Ave, Solvay, NY 13209.
