With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nora M. Szczechowiak of Syracuse, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 24, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Nora may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her brother Charles Braun (Mary); her son Patrick Braun (Amber); and her stepdaughter Michelle Melfi (John Steven). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
