We announce the death of Paula J. (Casler) Patell of Syracuse, New York, born in Utica, New York, who passed away on October 9, 2026, at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard "Bud" Casler and Jane Casler. She is survived by: her husband Michael; her daughters, Melissa Maloney (Ryan) of Syracuse and Sarah Buley (Ben) of Syracuse; her grandchildren, Harrison, Alex, Isla and Emilia; and her siblings, Peter Casler (Patricia) of Long Island, Daniel Casler of Syracuse, Christine O'Brien (Michael) of Penn Yan and Amy Rasmussen (Eric) of Remsen. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Buranich Funeral Home (5431 W Genesee St, Camillus, NY 13031).
