We bid farewell to Raymond L. DeMonte (Syracuse, New York), born in Hartford, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 23, 2026 at the age of 81. Raymond touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his son Scott; his sister Jean Norton; and his parents, Gino DeMonte and Daisy DeMonte. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his sons, Brian and Raymond Jr. (Amanda); his sister JoAnne Sabin (Tom); and his grandchildren, Brian Jr., Nick, John, Emily and Sidney. He is also survived by his family, Ray was more than a father or grandfather.

The family politely requests no flowers be sent, but should you wish to consider supporting a cause close to his heart, he felt strongly about Tunnels to Towers and Shriner's Children Hospital.
