He was predeceased by: his mother Lorraine Blais (Sickman); his son Scott Blais; and his siblings, Gerald Blais, Marlene Dunn, Lillian McGarth, Robert Blais and Peter Blais.
He is survived by: his father John Blais; his wife Mary; his sister Carol Glicer; his sons, Gregory Blais (Nancy), Christopher Blais (Cynthia), Jeffrey Blais (Kimberly), Timothy Blais (Laurie) and Paul Blais (Alisha); his daughter-in-law Erin Blais; and his stepchildren, Debbie Snell (John) and Jeffrey Silmser. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Massena Volunteer Fire Department, honoring his years of service and dedication to the community he loved.
