He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominic Grosso and Joan Grosso (Fanto); and his son Richard Grosso. He is survived by: his children, Gina Dillarcipretto (James), Debby Grosso (Fred Shaw) and Robert Grosso; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Anthony, Kayla Dillarcipretto and Hunter Shaw; and his siblings, Mary Romano (Larry), James White, Cindy Foran and Nicholas "Buddy" Fiore. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Thomas J. Pirro Jr. Funeral Home (3401 Vickery Rd, Syracuse, NY 13212). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY 990 7th North St. Liverpool, NY 13088.
