Robert L. McClain Obituary
In loving memory of Robert L. McClain of Syracuse, New York, who departed this world on October 27, 2025 at the age of 79. Robert leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Donna McClain of Syracuse, NY; his children, Lori McClain (William Connington) of Spokane, WA, Steven McClain (Christine) of Twin Falls, ID and Nicole Black (Chris) of Hawley, PA; his brother Kenneth McClain (Carolyn); and his grandchildren, Michael Kowalski, Joseph Kowalski, Nicholas Kowalski, Andrew McClain (Brittney), Lindsey Allen (Jeremy), Jenna McClain (Daniel Veuger) and Abby McClain. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Hope Church (7587 State Fair Blvd, Baldwinsville, NY 13027). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New York State Veterans Cemetery (6632 NY-96A, Romulus, NY 14541).
