With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert J. Sabella of Syracuse, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Sabella and Lucy Sabella; and his grandson Matthew Sabella. He is survived by: his wife Veronica (Ronnie); his children, Susan Bentley (Richard), Sally Sabella and Steven Sabella (Deb); his grandchildren, Dan Carlin (Victoria), Annabel Raineri (Jeremy), Sam Carlin and Zachary Sabella (Zivi); his great grandchildren, Alys and Leona Carlin; and his pets, Deeohgee and Lennie.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gang Memorial Chapel (104 Fordham Rd, Syracuse, NY 13203). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Daniel's Church (3004 Court St, Syracuse, NY 13208).
In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Daniel's Church or Rosamond Gifford Zoo.
