Rose M. DeSantis Obituary

We announce the death of Rose M. DeSantis (Syracuse, New York), who passed away on July 11, 2026, at the age of 100. Rose will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fratianni and Jennie Fratianni (Chiovitti); her husband John DeSantis; and her siblings, Angela Fratianni, Frank and James Fratianni.

She is survived by: her children, Jean DeSantis, John (Angela), James (Denise) and Dan DeSantis (Amanda); her grandchildren, John N., Stefanie Palmer, James A. and Jenna DeSantis; and her caregivers, Amy, Laurie, Jeanine, Tonya, Lisa, Carla, Carie and Anita. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
