With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley W. Mott (Syracuse, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Shirley departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Shirley. Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by : her son Daniel; and her sister Florence Smith. She is survived by : her sons, William (Patricia), Allen (Lynne) and Timothy (Diane); her daughter-in-law Kathleen Mott; and her sister Joan Knight. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Welter-Price Funeral Home (3111 James St, Syracuse, NY 13206). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the White Chapel Cemetery.
