He was predeceased by: his daughter Colette Abboud; his parents, Najeeb Abboud and Enshirah Abboud; and his siblings, Eveline, Salim, Marie and Eva.

He is survived by: his wife Lily Abyad; his children, Anna Jabaji (Shibel), Elias Abboud (Anna) and Tony Abboud; his grandchildren, Michael Jabaji (Jackie), Andrew Jabaji, Marc Jabaji and Lyla Abboud; and his great grandchildren, Thomas, Clara and Johnny Jabaji.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Elias Church.
