Stephen LaVerne Brown Obituary
We announce the death of Stephen LaVerne Brown (Syracuse, New York), born in Endicott, New York, who passed away on October 24, 2026, at the age of 81. Stephen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Brown and Marleta Brown; and his brother Willard. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Brown (Pope); his children, Christopher Brown (Alice) of Syracuse and Marcia Brown-Medina of Kankakee, IL; his siblings, Leonard of Hagerstown, MD, Meredith of Rock Stream, NY and Florence of Danbury, CT; his grandchildren, Matthew, Jonathan (Nikki), Benjamin, Joshua, Sebastian, Abigail and Caleb; and his great grandchild Tucker.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ Community Church (3644 Warners Rd, Syracuse, NY 13209). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
