He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Carroll and Dorothy Shaw; his wife Sylvia J. Carroll; and his siblings, Richard, Kathleen and Maureen.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Carroll Montgomery, Thomas M. Carroll, Jr. (Judy) and John J. Carroll (Gina); his grandchildren, Nicole Smith (Gary), Patrick Trivison (Kelly) and Kevin Carroll; his great grandchildren, Alex, Kaleigh, Greg, Ariella and Michael; and his great great grandchildren, Xander and Anthony. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
