He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice F. O'Brien and Marian F. O'Brien (Harrigan); his wife Sandra Giamartino; and his brothers, John D. and Richard R. O'Brien.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Ann Giamartino, John and David F. Giamartino. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Buranich Funeral Home (5431 W Genesee St, Camillus, NY 13031). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (127 Chapel Dr, Syracuse, NY 13219). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at the St. Mary's Cemetery (4100 E Genesee St, Syracuse, NY 13214).
