He is survived by: his daughter Yana Kaplun (Elena Kaplun) of Ukraine; and his siblings, Halina Kaplun of Spartanburg, SC, Liudmyla Vovchenko (Vladimir) of Spartanburg, SC, Oleksander (Liudmyla) of Spartanburg, SC, Sergii (Liliia) of Lakeland, NY and Petro (Alla) of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hollis Funeral Home (1105 W Genesee St, Syracuse, NY 13204). A burial was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Loomis Hill Cemetery (4069 Howlett Hill Rd, Syracuse, NY 13215).
