He was predeceased by: his parents, Abram Ferris and Helen Ferris; his former wife Harriet June Taylor; his wife Janine; his stepchildren, Denise Dever, Michele Quinn Romano and Ron Quinn; and his grandson Trevor Quinn.

He is survived by: his sister Alice Hartman; his children, Glenn Ferris (Ginger) and Elaine Imeson (Dana); and his stepchildren, Patrice David and David Quinn (Deborah). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and a nephew.
